Good news Red Sox fans – Tim Wakefield’s back surgery (as we previously reported) is being called “successful.” I’m never too sure exactly what that means when we’re dealing with an athlete going under the knife, but I guess it’s better than them coming out and saying that the surgery was “unsuccessful”.
